    Poor guy... lost his watch

I have difficulty working up too much sympathy for him, but I hate to see anyone get robbed or lose their stuff.

So how does a watch get stolen from you? If you don't hand over the watch at say, gunpoint, how else does it get taken off your wrist? Was there a Larry Craig incident? This is quite strange. Don't like when people get robbed, but he didn't exactly enlighten the police to how it was stolen from him. Something I would do if $85,000 of whatever was stolen from me.

This just sounds shady. I used to work as a clerk in a criminal court and we saw stories like this in a lot of police reports; we called them "BDDs"- Broken Drug Deals.

Not that I saying that's what happened here, but the behavior is similar.

Yup, gotta agree. There's definitely something wrong here. Me thinks something stinks...

Maybe he took it off to wash his hands. Only thing I could think of.

Sounds like he is trying to get insurance money. Why a guy who made 22 million needs that, who knows. Or he just wants some spotlight.
He seems like a total scumbag.
I prefer to be roughly right than exactly wrong
