    Potential scammer?

so the buyer wanted more pictures. But with a strange request that I show the watch with today's date. So I use my gshock as reference. Then the buyer just stops all communication all together. Has this happened to anyone else? What a waste of time... Anyway.. The watch is still for grabs.

    Thanks for looking.

    Re: Potential scammer?

Step 1. Prove you have the watch.
    Step 2. Buy the watch.

Looks like he bailed on Step 2.

    Not cool posting his email.

He wanted you to prove that you own the watch, that's not strange at all, then stopped cuz he sees you as a scammer as you showed gshock

You appear as the scammer, actually. Maybe he just found your wrist so unappealing in the pictures that the Sinn became tainted.

And posting emails on here is not cool.

    Re: Potential scammer?

??? I'm not clear what you did with the G-Shock, or why. Whatever it was, you must have come across as 'sketchy'. All he wanted from you was to take a picture of the Sinn with the current date as proof that the watch is actually in your possession and you're not trying to scam him. It's a pretty common request.

    Re: Potential scammer?

Wait, was your Sinn set to the correct date? I just got it.

So the potential buyer thought you were the scammer because you did not understand his request and split. I do not blame him.

    Re: Potential scammer?

Please edit out his email. Or delete the whole thing. You're selling a super expensive Sinn watch, to some of us, and you have 210 previous posts. Maybe he just doesn't think it's worth it to risk his money on you.

    Re: Potential scammer?

Hey all, sorry for not clarifying.. The buyer wanted for me to take a picture with another form of date, as proof that I have the watch with me (not using old photos) and I also specified that in our emails as well. I just wanted to let you guys know if you have dealt with this guy before. I'll delete it soon.

    Deleted already.

If you suspect a scammer please hit the report button on a PM. If he is indeed a scammer then his is still at work scamming others all the time the mods haven't been made aware.
