Praise for Christopher Ward Customer Service!

Calling people out for good things is fun.

I was in between ordering either the 38 or 42 mm Trident. I was looking at the 42mm, then I added a 22mm leather strap into my cart. Then finally decided on the 38mm dial and added to cart and checked out.

The watch arrived, and that's when I noticed I kept the 22mm black strap in the cart instead of switching out to the 20mm strap which goes with the 38mm version.

Read the directions online, then went to the post office and shipped it to England with a tracking number. Cost $52!

A week later I got an email saying my new watch strap was in the mail AND my credit card was refunded for the $52!! For something that was MY fault...

It really made my day to see the refund. I got the strap for $105. CW took a $52 dollar hit, just to provide the customer service. Very, very happy with them. The least I could do is type a post on WUS for $52 :)

Yes they do seem to have really good customer service. I've bought a watch from them once and they answered all my questions in reply quick time.

The main reason alot of people buy their products is because of the outstanding customer service. They really stand behind their watches.

Yes, a company wanting to establish itself by offering customers great value, meaning second to none build quality, good design and great after sale service, should be praised.

We don't see enough of those, too often they push fake stories, bought celebrities and questionable historicity to sell inflated prices, low value products.

+10. I have 2 CW watches - C3 chrono and C5 malvern. The CS is exemplary. Any issues, returns, shipping, etc is handled w utmost professionalism and client focus.
For a company that sells exclusively online they are a rare one that understands the importance of customer service and flexible return\exchange policy.

It used to be that the wife of the founder handled a lot of customer issues - amazing.

My last purchase included a hand-written note by the president saying "bonne plongée" in french!
Maybe not so impressive sounding, until you realize that they had to deduce that with my name AND the region I'm living, the one they were sending the watch to, I was most probably French speaking.
