    A pretty obvious Comparison: IW326506 vs U2/BL

Both pilot watches and both with blue dials. Some evident pointers:

Bremont is more rugged: hard case+100m WR
IWC is more classy and Iconic
Bremont has the day in addition to the date
Bremont has the inner bezel that you can use to measure elapsed time
IWC is a limited edition and a better recognized brand
Retail price is about the same

I would say that if you want a dressier choice then IWC but if you want the rugged and functional go for the Bremont. I feel that once you bypass the brand name the choice is harder.
    Shoot!

It is definitely a tough choice. Both watches are very nice, "I must say". But for me I'd go with the Bremont. It hits all my buttons......

Tough choice but I would have to go for the IWC.
Never a fan of the day indicator and I am getting that entry level Seiko vibe from that dial.

Looks, looks, looks. To my eye not even close - Bremont in a runaway . . . .

I'm surprised that I am going to say this, because of how much I usually love IWC Pilot watches, but that Bremont is so nice. And I can't get used to the new date indicator on the IWC. You really can't go wrong though.

I realize you are looking at blue dialled pilots, however, if you were comparing the Bremont to the XVI, then I would have a much harder time (would probably pick the IWC in that case).

I like the new date indicator on the IWC actually. Maybe because it gives the illusion of the instruments on an airplane and because when the minute hand points at 3 you can still figure out the date. But I understand sometimes we just like the looks on something regardless .

Also I forgot to mention the blue barrel on the Bremont, it's awesome ! And the blue dial looks more metallic (at least on the pics)

Bremont's case work is second to none. I love how the dial colour flows with the side of the case! It makes the whole watch flow seamlessly. Not to mention, the interesting lug design!

The more I look at the Bremont, the more I like it.

Same happen to me. My fist thought was IWC all the way, but then the more I look to them, I thought oh no Bremont is the winner.
So I decided to post this, just to make sure my call wasn't off.

    It's the right choice, imo, I'm waitin' on delivery of a solo-37 myself . . .
