    Price fluctuations

Does anyone know a site where you can check how much a given watch sold for? For example, I am trying to find out what a brand new 2009 Omega Seamaster 300m sold for in 2009. Does anyone have the answer? Thanks for all the help, just trying to do my due diligence before making a mayor watch purchase. I have been saving up.

I feel like Google would be your best bet here. There are subscription sites such as Terapeak that track eBay sales, but only within the past year.

The Diver Co-Axial was about 3,400 USD, if that's any help.

Look at watchrecon over the last few weeks for your brand/model to get an idea of marketplace conditions for another suggestion.

you could go to your overview page in Chrono24 and add a new watch with the reference number (in your case the omega) and under the option (i own this watch) select (i don't own this watch). Chrono24 will add this new watch under followed watches and you can see the prices from as late as 2008. keep in mind that you will only be able to see the historical prices graph on the web browser version from your PC and not from your phone app.
    hope that helps

ebay completed sales is the easiest way but that has it's limits. Don't know if many diamond studded Rolex are sold there

I don't think it matters so much what the price was new, it's all about the fair market value now. It's a 10 year old watch, so I would want to know the service history and condition vs. same year examples. Use your resources to research current sales. Good luck and I hope you get a great deal!

I also use Ebay sold items and set alerts on watchrecon. No matter how good the deal looks, I wait until I can find another one for sale somewhere. It's saved me many times
