    Props to Victorinox

    Happy good Friday amigos

Just taking a moment to give praise to what I believe to be one of the better values when it comes to Swiss auto divers in the 1k and below bracket !
I've had one before a couple years ago and always kept and eye out for it because this watch had quite the appeal to me , the last one was black dial and this time around red :)
It truly feels well made and the fit and finish feels waaaay beyond its MSRP
Definitely a great bang for your buck ,
Solidly built , awesome WR great lume and a buttery smooth ETA 2892 not seen to often within this price range :)
This can be had for under Micro brand Diver pricing on the forum , and they deliver top shelf quality

Just wanted to share and give a on the VSA Dive Master 500

    Have a great weekend

That looks really nice! I always love a lumed bezel and it's a nice touch on a watch like this. Victorinox is great value for the money, enjoy it.

Yes...thumbs up to VSA. They have several nice designs that compare favorably to some of the Hamilton/Tissot offerings.

I used to have an Alpnach auto chrono that I thought was much nicer than its gray market price would suggest. I heard somewhere that for a time they were making their cases in the Breitling factory.

Wow that's the first I've heard of that !!
Any additional info on that ?

All the more reason to believe it def holds it own with the price / quality ratio :)

    Thanks

I've always liked those but never owned one. Are they still being made new? Can I get a red model with a quartz movement? My son would LOVE it.

I believe so , the newer models like mine were released in 2012 and have a very minimal update to the dial mostly from what I can see is the font is now smaller and yen date window is less pronounced.
The Quartz versions can be had for really good prices !!
    Good luck. :)
