    Proud Father!

I have been TRYING soooo hard to get down to 1 watch, and I had a Gshock aviation I wanted to sell, but ended up trading for a near perfect ever popular Orange Monster with the thought it would be easier to sell. Long story short, I got it today, polished it up and was about to take pictures and my oldest son (17) walked in the room. He has NEVER shown a interest in watches. However when he saw this one, he immediately asked to try it on. Once he had it on, he started asking tons of questions about it.

After about 5 minutes I realized that it belonged on his wrist. Extra watch problem solved. When I told him he could keep it I KNEW he was a WIS in the making. That was confirmed 10 minutes later when he posted the below Wrist Shot on Facebook. With the title "Upgrade to awesome! Thanks Pop!"

    Time is relative.

Nice story. My son (age 21) has never been interested in watches. He never understood why I would even wear them cause we all have cell phones.

Now lately, he is very interested in watches and has bought himself a few - just for fashion.

    That is a start.

Great story. My daughter has been doing that to me with my smaller cased 37mm grand seiko and it's shiny indices. Every time she sees it, she turns into a Racoon. I will end up giving it to her later this year.

    Great story. "Awesome" Pop indeed!
I was up in NYC/Long Island a couple of weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised to see most of the youngsters wearing watches. We're talking high school age here, very few of the 30-somethings I saw were wearing one, but maybe the new kids are getting tired of checking their pocket watches.
It gave me a warm fuzzy.
