    Question Question about Cartier Authenticity

Long time lurker here! Finally broke over and signed up for an account since I had a question. I have a Cartier Santos 100 XL that I am interested in purchasing and would love to post some photos here to have the pros give me their opinion on the authenticity however, I see no part of the forum where one might direct a thread about Cartier authenticity inquiries. Where would something like this go?

I'm guessing converting from a lurker to a poster in the community won't suffice as currency ehh?

Currency, now that is a great subject to get into.
Plus, I told you it was kosher on another forum.

    Re: Question about Cartier Authenticity

I would not rely on internet opinions to validate pre purchase authenticity.

Just be sure you can return the watch for a full refund if it is not authentic, or be able to reverse the charge to your credit card.

And since you likely have no idea as to the service history of the watch, you should assume it needs service and send it to Cartier for an evaluation and possible service. You will get your answer soon enough. Make sure the seller allows you a sufficient window of time to return instead of something like 48 hours.

OP! You are very wellcome to post sharp, welldefined pics of the watch, and we will do everything we can to help you.
If you could post a pic of the movement will help tremendously.
I see no problem if you ask soon after you join this eminent forum.
A member with just a few posts has the same right as somebody like me. IMHO!
