I recently purchased a c65 Trident Vintage and love it, except for one thing, the lume seems pretty weak. The odd thing, is that I saw a review on this watch that said CW had really upped their lume game and that the lume on this watch was extremely good, even better than their diver. That's why I'm a bit confused. Does anyone else own this timepiece that can comment on the lume?
Not got the C65 but the lume on the old C60 had a reputation as been pathetic so when CW improved it massively with the launch on the new C60 it leapt from pathetic to just acceptable, certainly not what I would call “extremely good” so I don’t think you have anything to worry about.
The regular lume on the new C60 is very good. Not quite up to Seiko Diver standards, but then, what is?
Perhaps it's just an issue with the vintage lume?
