Question about my Certina watch C633.7029.42.66

This is my watch , it is my first automatic

Is this particular model able to be winded manually? I looked at the instruction manual but it seems vague, I do not want to screw the watch up. I will eventually get a auto winder, but in the meantime can I just give it a few winds?

It appears to have an ETA 2824-2 movement in it.

so it should hand wind just fine.

By the way, there are some terrific photos of it up at this website - there are VERY few of it anywhere on the net that aren't the official Certina stock photos -

Nice lookin' watch man and as Doc said, it is the 2824-2 which can be hand-wound.

Thanks guys with that said. When I pull the crown out once it will adjust the date, when I pull it one more time it will do the hours/minutes.

With the crown pushed all the way in, and I turn it clockwise nothing happens except I hear and feel noises like a gear is turning, am I winding this thing correctly? It also sounds like its scraping something...
