Hey people...I sold my first watch on Paypal about a month ago. So, this guy acknowledged receipt of the watch (an Alpina Extreme Diver) on 23 Jan. Then, on 7 Feb (2 weeks later) he files a dispute with Paypal saying that he wore the watch for 2 days and it worked fine, then it stopped. He took it to a watch repairer who told him that a spring had broken inside. So the buyer has filed a "Not as expected" claim with Paypal. He's also stated that even if Paypal sides with me, he'll file a dispute with his credit card company.
The watch is mechanical and it is physically impossible that it could have arrived at his place already broken; he admits to wearing it for 2 days and it worked just fine.
Does anybody have any experience with something like this? Any advice on how to proceed with both the claims (I've already responded to Paypal, but there's the looming claim with his credit card)?
