Rafael Nadal's NEW Richard Mille RM27-01

Ran across this today. Did a quick search and didn't see anyone else posting it.

Why Rafael Nadal Needs An Even Lighter $690,000 Watch For Tennis - Forbes

Nadal's new watch, which is 1 gram lighter than his previous one, and $165,000 more expensive.

    Grand total of $690,000.

I don't care what he wears on his wrist, as long as he stays healthy, starts winning again and hopefully reclaims the French title.

A ten dollar Timex would also keep better time than many of the watches we all own. I know it would keep better time than my Omega.

We all know it's not really all about telling time.

Also, it's not like he's paying for it. If I got paid to wear that, I would do it in a heartbeat.

His last two Richard Mille watches were stolen in separate incidents..

    One was recovered:

I actually quite like the aesthetics on the model model. Richard Mille makes some exceptionally fine timepieces, with the occasional horrid design, but this one I can appreciate for what it is. The weight alone is jaw dropping. 19 grams.
