Question Real or Fake? That is the question?? Omega DeVille Prestige Ladies

    Hello All,
Not going to bore you with an easy "Is this ROLEX real?"

I'm looking at purchasing this for the wife.
She is very selfless at times, so I wanted to surprise her with this.
She doesn't know, but, what women wouldn't fall in love with this watch?....

Anyway, its being offered to me from a pawnshop @ $1700.
MSRP is $9500, and sale price is $8800 in the Omega shop. A few online retailers have them at $5800-$6200.
This one comes with the box, but no other docs or papers...

Want your input, I'm no pro or try to act like one...

Move to the right section if I started this thread in the wrong subcategory.

The thing that jumps out to me is; look how the diamonds at the 9 o' clock position are not lined up with each other..

There isn't any way of telling real or fake from your pics. They aren't bad pics, they just don't show very much. You need to post clear, close-up pics of the dial, back, inside the back, and the movement. Even then, it isn't possible to tell you 100%.
Only an independent, experienced watchmaker can authenticate the watch. You could buy it with a written guarantee from the seller that they will take it back if it's a fake, then immediately take it to a watchmaker for authentication, or have a watchmaker examine it in the pawnshop, or whatever...or try posting more detailed pic here for a start.

Follow Sherry's advice. Only buy it if you can get a WRITTEN guarantee that you can take it back if it's found to be dodgy.

If it's real , it's not a current model. The bracelet links look "sloppy" somehow.
