I hope this will be an entertaining thread.
I know quite often we get off on tangents about this or that watch being a reinterpretation of some other watch. But the fact is that sometimes both the original and the remake are both quite nice and nicely done. So for this thread, I ask you to identify two things:
- A song that is a reinterpretation of an earlier song that you think is done well, and provide a link to the two versions
- A watch that you think is a well done reinterpretation of an earlier watch, and provide a pic (your own or someone else's) of the original and new versions.
- Something about You
- Original: Level 42
- Remake: Anthony David
- Rolex Milgaus
- Early version - 1019 (although there are other references, I like this one)
- Updated Version: the one shown has been enhanced with PVD/DLC by a third party, which I rather like, although the basic design sold by Rolex is quite nice too.
All the best.
I am always a different man; a reinterpretation of the man I was yesterday, and the day before, and all the days I have lived.
