    Replacing a miyota 8215 movement

    Hello,

I'm pondering the replacement of a Miyota 8215 with a Sellita or an ETA if obtainable in a watch I own. Were I to do this, which models of movements by these makers would work as replacements (there's a date window on the face). i'll use the Miyota in a build if I can source a suitable case.

    cheers.

Hey friend, you only gave everyone 13 hours to get a response. I honestly think you should consider posting this question in the watchmaking forum. Prolly have a bit more success. Also I would recommend talking about specifically what watch you plan on removing the movement from. If you can find a Miyota 9015 I think that would be one of the easiest transitions, however I assume the date box will complicate things.
