    Retro Chron Vintage?

    Hi all

I have this weird looking watch in my possession. Obviously I had a look on the net, but found nothing similar. This thing is fat, about 15mm in height and 47mm in diameter. At the moment it isn´t working and the crown can be pulled out with ease after unscrewing it.
The weirdest thing about it for me is, there is a screw in the case back which, when unscrewed, doesn´t produce anything, I don´t know what it´s there for.
It seems that the whole watch can be lifted out of the bottom part of the case, though beat me to death, I don´t know how! The bezel doesn´t turn either, but there is a gap between the bottom part of the case and the glass an bezel part, which makes it look like the top part slips into the bottom part.

    Any ideas?

Nearly the same, but mine does not have a screw down case back, it has a one piece case. The screw in the case back is to give access to release and insert the crown. Apparently you can lift the whole movement, including the dial, crystal and bezel out of the bottom part of the case, but I don´t know how to do it. The whole thing is similar to the Jenny dive watches.

Right, that makes it a Sea Serpent 1, the later Serpents had screw down case backs - here is a description of the manual wind Sea Serpent from RLT Watches:

Hi, Ok I write here and not in UhrForum : Call Lieser Uhrenhandel in Germany. They do the repairs for Retrochron. They'll know what to do.
