    Question Retrowerk

Do some members of the forum actually own one ?

I've been searching through the forum, only answers I got was about delivery problems in an old post...

I would really like to know if someone has an experience with these watches

No info for you ,but I think they're cool! I wouldn't wear one though, I think they'd be too big for me.

That is an interesting watch. I think Captain Nemo was wearing one of those when the squid attacked the Nautilus. :)

    Precisely !!

I'm looking for a Captain Nemo watch
    Sort of Steampunk...

I like them, but they're a bit overpriced... 1000 € for a basic ETA is a bit too much for my taste

Retrowerk came to my attention in 2007 when visiting Baselworld. For me they are too big, too expensive for what they offer (besides the design which isn't appealing to me).

Thanks Mike (I've read your report on Baselworld )

Yes, I agree, they're a bit overpriced but I really like their design...

It's strange nobody really tried to explore those retro-industrial designs.

I'm crazy about Romain Jerome, but It seems there's not much love for these kind of timepieces...

The brass looks cheap, but if you are going to be swabbing the poop deck I guess it doesn't matter.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with your front end. Oversteer is when you hit the wall with your rear end. Horsepower is how hard you hit the wall. Torque is how far you move the wall.
