Rigidity of the rings on straps

I have just bought a unbranded zulu strap but the rings "mobility" are very stiffed and rigid, I'm sure this has got to be something to do with the loop space and the sewing length between the ring. I wish to find out if this is the norm.

My strap measures 0.6mm (blue underlined), 0.9mm (red underlined), 0.9mm(yellow underlined).

Is there any maratac owner's with the zulu strap willing enough to share with me on the measurements at the area underlined? Thanks.
