Rod Taylor's watch in Hitchcock's The Birds

One of my cable stations recently had a Hitchcock marathon. While watching The Birds for the umpteenth time, what should I notice but a close up of the sweet timepiece Rod Taylor is wearing throughout the picture. However, this is the best screen cap I could get of it.

Yep, I tempted to say Piaget, but it's not.

Rod Taylor's watch in Hitchcock's The Birds

Sort of looks like the crown emblem of a Jules Jurgensen

Something like this (picture from the internet)

Still pretty sure it's a Smiths. It looks like the smiths crown, looks like the Smiths "ths" and the watch looks like a smiths.

I agree thats very possible too.

The crown emblem looks more rounded like the JJ to me than the sharp pointy one of the Smiths.

I was kind of hoping it would be a Seagull.
