    Rolex and The Great Escape

    Very interesting reading on watch/Rolex/military history:

    Growing up in the 70's and 80's in England, The Great Escape was a Christmas Holiday institution on televison, usually shown on Boxing Day (in American English: December 26th - also a public holiday). It should be a very interesting auction, and if the recent Omegamania results are anything to go by, a big-money event.

    it's a wonderful movie, and the watch makes it more real...
