Because it has a wavy dial?

How’s that an homage? It has 1 thing alike, the dial. Does that mean this is an homage too because it has a wave patterned dial? Cmon seriously....

Far too many differences to my eye to call that an homage. Also, I have to imagine Omega has been “homaged” for decades, but don’t quote me on that

Just because of the wavy dial? Hands, bezel, numbering track is quite different. Not that similar really.

Different writing, hands, minute track, rehault, bezel (both lettering and shape), case. Definitely not an homage IMO. Also, people have been more-closely homaging Omega for awhile--this isn't a new occurrence.

I agree wavy dial is a signature of Omega SMP
There is nothing else about this watch to suggest Omega homage
Fact is So many cues in so many watches borrowed from others
Very rare to find real originality in designs - unsurprisingly - cos most dont want 'outlandish' -
so the very nature of the item (sports dive watch) limits the styling

Meh, not really an homage, just a couple of ugly watches.

Also, tons of homages exist across a broad spectrum of price points. G Shocks have Skmei, Seiko Merkur (amongst others), etc.
