Rolex OP vs Tudor BB 36 vs Omega AT vs IWC Pilot 36

Well I've been a 1 watch guy for a while, and I'm getting that jonesing again to add a watch. My primary is a Rolex Sub 16610. From the watches I'm considering, I'm sure you'll notice a pattern. Smaller versatile type watches with proven and durable movements.

So which one would you recommend?

    Rolex Oyster Perpetual for me.

Even though you prefer smaller Watches, I would suggest to try out the 39mm Rolex Oyster Perpetual 39mm with the Rhodium dial. One of the nicest, sub-$10,000.00 three-handed Watch out there, in my opinion.

I have tried on the 36mm and the 39mm Oyster Perpetual.

    Both are lovely.

I have very skinny wrists, so I noticed even 39mm can look large. The slightly larger sub looks and wears well on me, but I think that's cause the bezel balances out the overall proportions. That being said if I am willing to do 39mm, I might prefer the Explorer I over the OP.

Have not handled any of them but just based on pics I've seen, either the OP or the IWC, both look very nice to me . . .

I own an AT 2500 in 39.2mm with 6.5" wrist and I don't find it to small.

Because you already own a diver I'd choose either the OP or AT. If you have the cash I'd go for the OP but if not I'd take the AT.

I think I'd go with the Aqua Terra. It's as versatile as a watch gets and the 8500 is really a terrific movement. Really hard to go wrong with an AT.

Re: Rolex OP vs Tudor BB 36 vs Omega AT vs IWC Pilot 36

I've held a new Rolex OP. The 39mm wears HUGE, and the 36 was kind of awkward because the case bulges out the side making the dial appear too small for the case. The 38.5 Aqua Terra is great, but still a bit too thick, and I ended up getting sick of the teak dial. The IWC and Tudor are both completely different pilot'ish styles.

    i'm so negative :(
