    Rolex tourbillon. Something different.

    Just once I wish I had real ďFUĒ money!

    Itís a custom mod, but still cool.

    Thoughts? Do you like it? Do you think they ruined a perfectly good watch? Does it matter?

    I like it blacked out, but that tourbillon is just unnecessary!

    ughhh.. No.

    Here is the thing...
    - it's not really Rolex anymore as such model doesn't exist in Rolex lineup
    - nobody will recognize it as Rolex - with many thinking it's fake
    - tourbillon on that watch looks out of place - sporty watch, dressy complication
    - does Milgauss magnetic resistance still exist once cage is so compromised?
    - reduced readability
    - just plain ugly

    Why not just get a tourbillon from an established maker in a case with a coherent design?

    I donít care for the tourbillon, however I will admit that they did a great job. Itís just not my thing. The darkened dial looks great. I like that portion of the modification.
