    rookie goes to Watchtime LA

quick field report from Friday night's gathering. first let me admit i was likely
the least knowledgeable person in the room when it comes to horology
however i'm a life-long gadget freak and freshman horology freak.

i will admit to being completely intimidated - however i'm amazed
at how light (some were titanium or ceramic) these beasts were.
i picked up as many as i could and tried on the A&S. the A.Lange
guy was so incredibly nice. he demanded i try it on and was
extremely generous with his time explaining what's going on.

ok screw it, here's a couple pix. as usual i'm too stupid to upload them
    correctly. sorry.

    marty

So LA is having their trade show, and San Frisco recently had their trade show. Do New Youk or Chicago have annual trade shows? What about Vegas?

The Lange looks good on you. You should buy one. :P

i didn't go today. i hit up a few vintage watch places. my fave was "wannabuyawatch?" on Melrose i think.
no one had any Dirty Dozen watches though...dang.

as for the atmosphere last night it was like um...being a Mazda driver in a room full of Ferrari owners. i am
    that mazda owner.

What do you think of the Reservoir watches? I really like them online, but don't know what they're like in person. Just curious what you thought.
