Question Rose Gold - Black or White Dial

One day in the future (near I hope) I want to get my first gold watch. I am thinking a dress watch in rose gold. I have been looking at a number of classic white dial variations but I have recently come accross a few black dials on the internet that look really nice. This got me thinking I already have quite a few white dialed watches in SS that would pass as dress watches and a black dial/rose gold piece would add variety to my collection. Of course this depends on the particular watch and I have not yet compared various models in the flesh.

I am interested in seeing people's opinions on their particular taste, however I do know what I like and dislike. I was hoping to hear from anyone that had wondered the same and took the plunge on the black or vice versa?

    :thanks

It all depends on the watch. I can't make a blanket statement that a black dial is better than white with a rose gold case. I've seen a Hamilton X Wind with a black dial and it's really cool, but the Patek 5127R would look ghastly with a black dial instead of the white.

I no not own a Rose Gold watch, just two Yellow gold watches. One has a silver dial, the other one a black dial.
Both look good, but you get bigger contrast Gold/black.

I am pondering over the same question ...

Take a look at this range from Candino classic 4372 range ...
    http://www.candino.com/#/Collections/Classic/C4372/

There are 3-hands analog and Chrono varieties with these combination

    - Black Dial
    - White Dial
    - Rose Gold Index
    - Silver Index
    - Rose Gold Case
    - Silver Case

Not implying you need to get one of these Candinos but with the pictures, u may know which best suits u

As a general rule, I like black with rose gold better than white. Like said above though, I think it depends on the watch in question.

The white or silver dial with rose gold looks dressier imho. The Zenith Chronomaster Open XT is a good example.

White dial with rose gold would be considered an upgrade from a basic white dial and stainless steel~cheers!

black sets off the rose color and gives contrast.

To me, any gold (rose, yellow, pink) looks better w/ black.
