The 31 not lining up with the 12 will drive me bonkers. It’s also a bit old and dated looking. Easy pass imo

Edit: very nice current collection btw

I love the watch personally, and it would be a great fit, as well as a step up to the next level for your collection. I have soft spot for VC, much more than most on this site it seems. Among my watches they tend to be my favorite. Resale is not as strong as it could be though, so deal hard if you pull the trigger.

Is this at the shop in the Wynn? At Bellagio?

100% agree. And I like your current collection more than this VC.

As for talking you away from the edge... its WUS... we are enablers of illogical choices.

    Buy it.

Agree with Jil re the date alignment, and overall spacing of the dates actually - the latter is one of the reasons I passed on the Quai de L'Ile. And the cut 5 and 7, although some don't have an issue with that. Still, if it sings to you do it! Best of luck

    Date alignment bothersome.

Month day windows are what they are ó a complication. Or clutter.

    Hour hand way too long.

Black date hand confusing, undifferentiated even with its red tip. Makes reading time at a glance hazardous. Could be red, or silver.

Big name, strange neglect of details. Can you get the back opened, to make sure itís VC (Geneva, not Hanoi) inside?

Itís a very classic looking watch and definitely fills a missing space in your collection. Go for it!

The 31 doesnt look misaligned with the 12 to me, it seems they just considered the whole number as one unit and centered each of them based off that being centered (instead of aligning the gap between the 3 and 1 with the gap between the 1 and 2). Since 3 and 2 are large and 1 is skinny that's why it looks offset. I think it's a very nice looking piece that would add a new flavor to the collection.
