Scrathes on a brush finished case

Just wondering if there's anything that can be done with getting out light scratches from a satin brushed finished case?
I'm hesitant to try polishing it with anything like a cape cod polishing cloth as I'm sure it'll make it turn shiny and losing the matt satin look.

    A job for the pro's?

Search "Scotchbrite" and "Watchbandrenew" both here and on Google as well as "scratch removal" and be prepared to spend a few hours reading. Also fine grit sand paper, emery board and other similar media.
Boston Watch Exchange has a scratch removal kit that is similar to the Watchband renew kit.

Also search for Bergeon Scratch Removal Pens and similar from other brands.

You will see lots of great images here and elsewhere. It is definitely a DIY possibility with some practice and realistic expectations.

Definitely no Cape Cod on a brushed finish. It'll turn it polished.

    And, welcome to WUS!

There are brushes with bristles made from drawn glass strands that I have seen do magic regarding the restoration of that type of finish. But, it's not work for the inexperienced.

Here's one recently finished with a green Scotchbrite, FYI.
