    Screw in links

Why didn't someone tell me about these sooner?!?
I liked them so much on my steinhart and Tisell bracelets that I ordered an aftermarket bracelet with screw in links for my Sumo.
I find them so much easier to adjust.

Make it hurt so bad, 'cause it feels so good when you stop.

Ha. They have been around for a while, but so has lots of stuff that I've never seen before. Agree, they are so much better than pins and collars. More reliable too

I've never had an issue with push pin bracelets and have scuffed up some bands trying to unscrew the links so I lean to the push pins

Take a look at Bernhardt. Fred uses screw-links in his bracelets.

Single-sided screw bars are great. Double-sided screw bars are *the worst*, since they require two screwdrivers in tandem and often result in slippage and stripped screws.

Not all screwed links are created equal.

    True.

I've got a nice set of screwdrivers, but of course only one of each size. If the bracelet needs two screwdrivers then I'm going to have to be very careful with the one that's slightly too small for the head.

    Re: Screw in links

Not too crazy about screw in links because:

    1) The screws can back out and you potentially loose an expensive watch, or at least damage it when it drops on a hard surface.
    2) The screws can seized and you can't remove or add a link.

    To each their own.....

Screw links are great but make sure the screwdriver is a snug fit in the sawgate for both thickness and width as the wrong sized driver can cam out an chew your screw head up.
