    Seiko or Fossil chronograph?

I posted earlier today about a JL watch I had wanted to purchase, but after some digging, I've ended up with what I believe are two better options. As I have mentioned before, I'm not a watch person, so I know very little about them, but have wanted to purchase one for a while.

Anyway, here's the Seiko watch I've found:

    And here's the Fossil:

Again, thanks a lot for your help, I've learned quite a bit about watches today.

If the Seiko doesn't win in a landslide I will be shocked.

The Fossils hands are sub-dial-obscuringly large

Seiko in a second. Fossil makes some nice looking watches, but I don't think that's one of them, and in any case, Seiko's simply the better watch.
Current Rotation: Seiko SARB017, Seiko SARB035, Seiko SKX013, Seiko World Timer (c. 1970).
Box Sitters: 1972 Zodiac Astrographic (Yeah, baby!), Patek Calatrava (I bring that out for special occasions).

Even removing the fact that Seiko makes a much better watch than Fossil, that Fossil is awful aesthetically. The giant roman numerals and beady eyed subdials? It's just terrible, why is the VI so tiny? There's no balance, it's like a 7 year old designed it and just tried to make everything fit.

Seiko. That Fossil's central second isn't connected to the chronograph.

I think it's obvious.....We don't want no stinkin' fossils here..........

They're both butt ugly, but gun to my head I guess the Seiko is ever so slightly less ugly. There's got to be better options out there for what you're looking for.
