    Service to Drill Lug Holes

Good afternoon kind folks of the WUS forum! Does anyone know of a user/company/etc. that will drill lug holes for a watch that does not already have them? Is this something your typical watch repair shop can handle?

I love my Seiko SARB035, and it might be a perfect watch for me if only it had drilled lugs to accommodate simple(r) strap changes. I have seen instructional posts for DIY, but I don't have the tools or the patience to perfect such a detailed art.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks!

yes there are companies that do this but the cost will be very close to just buying a second SARB035 for strap changes

Don’t do it because it will be expensive and won’t be as useful as on that’s come pre drilled

Find a watch that has them. It is an excuse to go hunting.

It'd be cool if someone would just do as he asked and post some information on where to get it done rather than telling him not to do it. Or maybe nobody actually knows anyplace that will do the work?

Not sure where you live but I would start with a local watch repair business.
The next place I might look would be a small machine shop.
You need some one who can do very detailed work with tight tolerances.

Have original band taken off, put back in case, and replace with ‘quick release’ band straps

I'd recommend straps with the quick release pins as above too. No need to modify the watch.
