    Sexy new Rado Ultra-Light

Spotted in baselworld reports, a super attractive new Rado, 56 grams only. A special eta movement with some aluminum parts for weight reduction, still a long PR, ceramic case with titanium inserts, brushed titanium dial.
An interesting off-beat alternative in my opinion.

Love the lightweight (and hardened) materials.

Love the brushing on the dial.

    Love the additional power reserve.

    Don't love the 43mm size.

That is quite the light watch! I like the understated look and case machining. I had a Rado, it was light and always a comfortable temperature because of the materials it was made of. Also it didn't get a single scratch because of the ceramic. Qualities that shouldn't be underestimated. Also got more compliments on that watch than any other. Now I miss my Rado...

I like it, but the brushing on the dial somehow reminds me of something...

A brand that flies too much under the radar of Wis. They have some interesting models.

Rado deserves credit for frequently marching to the beat of their own drummer when so many other brands at their price point commonly use fairly derivative designs.

In its price segment, I find it an interesting alternative to for example some Tudors.

I like it but should the hour hand be a smidge longer?
