    Question should i buy it?

im thinking about buying the swiss army automatic chrono pro for about $1000 from overstock. Anybody out there think its a good buy or have a better alternative for the price? It has the features and look i wantwhich are automatic chronograph stainless or titanium with black face and stainless or black rubber band. im mostly intrested in the stopwatch feature of the chronograph.

More details are needed. What's a chrono pro? Brand?
    Lots of dive watches.

I don't think I'd spend $1k on a Swiss Army. I'd go for a Ball, Stowa, or something used.

Seems pricey for $1000. A google products search shows some lower prices from other sources.
    Lots of dive watches.

Maybe at $1000, you could get same features and better watches that you want. I don't think its the only watch that suits you, is it?
What are the features you are looking for?

I would have to agree. A $1K seems a bit steep for a Swiss Army watch. In addition to Ball and Stowa you could also very easily pick up a used Omega Speedmaster in very good condition.

Those pop up on Ebay from reputable sellers in the $500-600 range all the time. $1000 is too much for that watch IMO.

At around $600, you have a great bang for the buck 7750 chrono.

In the past Swiss Army were more in the under 500$ market, but when looking at their new collection I realized that they are moving now to produse more expensive models. Maybe it is seems a bit expensive but from my experience with SA I can assure you that quality of this timepiece will be very high. Just try to find the same model cheaper somewhere.
