Rolling eyes Should I go for Panerai ?

I am done buying a lot of swiss makes. Done with my grail hunt of Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch too.
Now, my next target is a Panerai.

Since Panerai hasn't been able to sing a lot yet, I need help please :)

For all Panerai lovers, could you please suggest 5 best reasons why I should go for a Panerai ?

My PAM has SWISS MADE across the bottom of the dial. Maybe you'd be happier looking at Grand Sieko?

I'll give you only 1 reason to buy a Panerai, and it's the only one you'll ever need

Buy it because you love it not because some people on a forum have listed reasons to justify its purchase.

If it doesn't sing to you it most likely never will!

i use to have a panerai, but got tired of it after the novelty wore off. it was a beautiful watch, but the thickness, weight, made it impractical. the moonwatch will give you the same 'bold' feel as a panerai while maintaining a much more lasting appeal and far more refinement in terms of elegance and wearability.

Panerai comes in sizes starting at 40mm, so they dont have to be small. I have a 44mm Submersible, and b/c of the external bezel and relatively short lugs, it wears smaller than one might expect.

PAMs are cool watches. Unique design, a very cool backstory/history (yeah yeah, i know... but the history is still there) and very nicely made. They are bold watches without being completely over the top (Royal Oak Offshores & Hublots, I am looking at you). I love mine, FWIW.

I had a Panerai and loved it. Great sporty watch, 44mm and was not too big for my 7" wrist. Lots of compliments on it.

I ended up trading it like I usually do, but I miss it and will probably get another someday.

You won't get that same "bold" feeling from any smaller round watch like an Omega Speedy Pro (which I also had and loved), completely different to me but both fantastic.

As long as you love the style I say go for it...doesn't matter what any of us say.

Re: Should I go for Panerai ?

Ok, I say this lightheartedly and mostly as a joke......

But for some reason, I tend to associate "Panerai" with "Confident Alpha Male"

Which makes me think; if you have to ask for reassurance and persuasion......?

Ya' see where I'm going here?
