I wore my Tudor Ranger to the gym once. Like your Aquaracer, it's my "no worries" watch; I'll wear it without worrying about what's going on, for the most part. But working out at the gym, using weights and machines, I was like "this is dumb, this is still a $2,000+ watch to be risking for no reason". I grabbed my Suunto Core that I got for free with points and started wearing that. Then, recently, I got a new Fitbit that has a strap. Normally I just keep it in my pocket, but I put the strap on and wear it as a watch when I go to the gym. It's small, light, out of the way, and it tells the time. And it was like $70, so if it breaks, no big deal.
