That is normal, as a general - black (cold color) does now go very well with brown (warm color).
Black on black/blue/grey or brown with brown/cognac/ orange go much better.
That Favre Leuba is simply stunning. Refined perfection and a real sleeper with tremendous cache although admittedly FL had such a patchy history in watchmaking during the 80's and 90's in particular that's it's easy to forget that they date from 1718!
Are they still being made? their website appears to be down.
