Show us your watches with Miyota 9015 movements!

Recently, I was visiting my local watch shop and the owner who is a very experienced and respected watchmaker was wearing a micro-brand auto with a Miyota 9015 movement. He spoke very highly about the 9015. Since then, I have read great things about this movement and I understand many companies are using it. I understand it is inexpensive, dependable, and accurate. Lets see your watches with Miyota 9015 movements and give us your opinion.

I have only 1 watch with the 9015 movement and have been pleasantly surprised by it. It's in my micro-brand Lew & Huey, their Acciona model and I am continually impressed by this watch! One of the reasons I chose to buy it was the fact that it uses the Miyota 9015 movement (also of which I had read and heard good things about). The auto rotor is super smooth and very quiet, and my piece is running about 10+ SPD. Very respectable for a watch at the price point it's at. Anyway, here's a pic of it:Name: 20160803_194428.jpg

Nothing to show yet, I'm looking forward to a future watch purchase with a 9015.

NTH Amphion Modern. I'm very pleased with the 9015 running at +5 seconds/day.

This is kind of embarrassing, but I'll swallow my pride: I always wanted to try the 9015, but my watch collection is pretty much complete and has been for a long time; these days I infrequently purchase watches. I guess it was maybe about four years ago when I had a pretty large merchandise credit at Amazon, and I saw this watch listed for a low price - so I bought it for about $70.

It's a cheesy TV brand with everything that cheesy TV brands love to employ - made in China, too large, too thick, garish, and a cheap leather strap that feels like sandpaper on the wrist - but I did get to experience the 9015 for next to nothing, and it's pretty much everything it's cracked up to be. One of the smoothest autos in my collection, but this watch is the proverbial pig in a blanket, unfortunately. I take it out of the box every once in a while.
