    Similar to Dan Henry...?

Been asked if there are places similar to DH with unique, affordable styles with Christmas in mind. I love my DH 1939 and I think the family are looking for ideas for my Pressie!!! Which is exciting! Thanks all!

I was going to say something else, with reference to fireproof underwear and posting to f2. But I won't. Instead, I'll point out that choice of watch is highly personal, and one of the very, very, few occasions where I'd recommend something like a gift card rather than an actual, in-the-metal, watch.

Even when almost (see: "almost") universal, tastes differ. The closest I can think of to something that almost everybody likes (see: "almost", again) such as the Orient Bambino, there are those who aren't so keen. Buying a watch, for anyone except yourself, strikes me as enormously fraught.

I believe the OP was referring to a gift for himself from his family, not a present from him to someone else.

The best gift is a gift to yourself, from other people, that they pay for.

Another DH? If you’ve only got the one there are still plenty of options what with the other colour 1939 and the 1963s.

Yes, I like the 1970 but the 40mm is out of stock, but I do the 1963...
