    Site Time Accurate?

How come the Bell & Ross clock up in the right hand corner is a couple minutes off from the official time? Isn't it supposed to be synchronized with the atomic clock?

If you compare it to the US Atomic Government site it's about 1 minute and 5 seconds off.

I think it syncs to the internal clock in your computer.

Ahhh, that would explain it! It's exactly the same.

Anybody computer savvy that can tell me how to fix it? I can only sync it to time.windows.com and that's the one that's throwing my computer time off. I'd like to sync it to time.nist.gov instead because that's the right now.

Here's another option for you - I've used this one for several years:

This program lets you select any atomic clock in the world to synchronize with, and has a lot of other options to customize how it works. The only downside is that it doesn't run on Windows Vista (which doesn't bother me personally -- all my PCs use XP). I asked the programmers about that after setting up a new PC for some friends, and they told me they're looking at creating an updated version.
