No need to unnecessarily scratch up my North Flag's bracelet, so when at my desk/macbook, I like to take off my watch and set it onto a pile of whatever papers are on my desk.

I'm guilty of this. I use a folded polishing cloth.

The closed top of my laptop because it's silvery and reflective in color and I find it helps to distribute the light even over the watch.

I have a small binder clip attached to the vertical side of a metal shelf with a green colored pencil stuck through the wings of the binder clip. Watch gets looped over the end of the pencil to hang down.

    Function over form for me.

On the plus side, it lets me rest my slightly slow Accutron in the 12-down position.

Sunglasses' cloth. Sticky note(s). Cardboard coaster, from a random brewery, that somehow ended up in my office.

Usually, it stays on my wrist under the shirt cuff.

I've come to terms that scuffs on the clasp is inevitable.

All great ideas, however I tend to agree with phillycheez: scuffs on the clasp are inevitable. It adds character and shows the watch has been lovingly worn. I view watches more as tools and less as art.
