    Skagen, Bulova, or Stuhrling?

Hi guys, I'm trying to make a decision for a day-to-day watch for work (business casual type environment, no ties, but slacks and dress shirts).

I like simple design, and have narrowed it down to 3 options.

Skagen Super Slim Chrome - 39mm

Size: 263.9 KB

    Bulova Silver Dial
    - 37mm

Size: 183.8 KB

    Stuhrling Original Ultra Thin
    - 38mm
    Name: stuhrling.jpg
Views: 9717
Size: 35.6 KB

My wrists are a bit under 6.5", and I like the more classic small watch look, so I'm not sure what size would look best. Also, I'm new to watches and don't know too much about the brands' reputation.

Any guidance, or other recommendations, is highly appreciated. Thanks!!

    What is your budget?
Those brands do not have a huge following on WUS......

Thanks for the reply. I was looking to stay under $100 (although I'll go higher if it's worth it). I am happy to take any recommendations!

Of the options listed, I'd go with the Bulova, I like seconds hands and the hour markers look higher quality. The other watches look as if the marker is just printed on the dial.

There are a number of chicom companies that put together some very nice dress/casual mechanical's for a fairly low price.

Check out the Chinese section of the forum.

Of those three though, I would most certainly choose the Bulova. It has a more recognizable history.

I like the Bulova a lot, followed by the Skagen. But any of the above will work just fine for what you want. Which one do you like the most?

Thanks for all the replies everyone.

John MS - I like the styling of the Skagen and Stuhrling more just b/c the hour markers and hands are darker, rather than silver, like on the Bulova. However, I think I like the size of the Bulova more, and it seemed to have the best reputation (which appears to be confirmed here). So I am torn.

Blubaru - I will have to check out that section, thanks!
