    Slow watch sales on forums?

Is it just me or has anyone noticed that watches have been selling slowly on the forums? I've seen some really attractive pieces at good prices re-listed repeatedly as of late. Perhaps it's just the dog days of summer, but I'm starting to wonder if the internet watch market has become saturated.

I would think that price has more to do with a watch not selling than the season. If some watches are not selling it's probably because they are priced above what buyers are willing to pay.

I think it may be that everyone is looking for an awesome deal....and in turn sometimes passing one up thinking they can find it cheaper...

It is just that time of year.....sales will pick back up around corporate bonus time, before the gift-giving holidays, and as tax return season hits.

I was thinking the same thing. I've seen same posts getting bumped up day after they. They aren't watches that I am looking for, but some that seem like good deals.

I actually managed to get a Seiko Sarb 003 at a very attractive price about 2 weeks ago.

Don't bring up anything on the sales forum, you might get your post deleted.

I read an article in Watch Time about how watch prices have cooled off due to the Chinese economy becoming sluggish lately. I think that a lot of people here just assume watch prices will always go up and up forever regardless of economic supply/demand considerations. I know quite a few people who got badly burned in the real estate market who bought a house with this attitude ten years ago. The days of the carefree watch flipper may be coming to an end.
