SMALL WRIST Gent-What Thin, Small, Luxury Watch, Under $10K is There?

I'm an older gentleman with a small wrist. I'm not into watches, but I'd like to have a nice dress watch and it needs to be smaller and thin. I would buy a Rolex, but I can't do the thickness of an automatic. I wanted a Grand Seiko, but found them too thick as well. I'd like to keep it under $10K and preferably below $5K, but I am open. I prefer a traditional, analog dial. A nice Quartz would be just fine with me, but I want it to have a bit of cachet. Your suggestions would be much appreciated, thank you.

Have you considered a nice, clean vintage piece? They would tend to be smaller, mostly between 34mm and 36mm, and reasonably thin, especially if you are willing to consider a mechanical, hand wound piece. There would be a myriad of potential options within your price range, and if you aren't comfortable buying on line and dealing with potential fakes, etc., you could pay a bit more at a reputable dealer and still be well within your budget.

Have a look at the Nomos Minimatik, it should be just what you are after in terms of size, thickness, and price.

If you aren't interested in vintage, there are also new options at the high end of your price range in the gray market, such as the Breguet Classic, 34.6mm x 7.5mm (available in yellow, rose and white gold):

There are several Nomos models you could consider, at well under your budget.

The Breguet and Nomos are good answers. A pre-owned JLC Master Ultra Thin small seconds should be perfect as well.

I immediately had the same idea as Spangles. A preowned JLC Master Ultra Thin ticks all your boxes. Thin, small, cachet and within your price range.

I thought of that one, too, but at 38.5mm I thought it might be too large for his tastes (although certainly beautiful, and thin enough).

You are right, but the former model before the current one has a diameter of only 34 mm and looks pretty much the same. Other models in the Master/Ultra Thin line had varying smaller sizes as well, while being very thin. Basically, that's what JLC is really good at.

I would suggest you to look at Nomos lines, zenith ultra thin and JLC, they all tick your requirements.
