Ok, I found some money (not a whole lot....)

So, after selling couple of my low end pieces, I came up with enough money for either:
2nd hand Seiko Spring drive GMT (this one):

Or Brand new Zenith Chrono handwind from a grey dealer (that would be this one but silver dial):

Pricewise, they are about the even...

Both watches were on my list to get.

    So, what do you think?

Why couldn't Seiko put that nice dial in a case with better lugs? I like the Zenith better - nothing wrong with having an El Primero in the box.

EDIT: You switched the Seiko on me! I prefer that now.

Given the smooth sweep a Spring Drive has, buying one with a seconds sub dial, is silly in my opinion. Of the two listed the Zenith wins in my book. I'd think something like this Seiko Spring Drive GMT in the for sale section would be better competition.

Of those two I prefer the Zenith.

Actually, THAT is one good looking watch and kinda levels playing field in terms of cost.

How about THAT or the Zenith?

I would vote for the Seiko, although the Zenith isn't a bad option either.
