Ooh, very nice! I especially love that Bremont!
Does the word "Chronometer" on the Ebel mean it's COSC certified? I'm not that familiar with the brand, just wondering.

Yup the Ebel came with a COSC certificate. This is a 7750 but they do have their own manufacture caliber chronograph as well.

They're using a chronometer grade 7750 which is impressive at this price level.

Bremont recently posted my photos on their Twitter/Facebook so that's a small point of pride for me.

Here are all the shots of the Bremont

Excellent shots of the Ebel and Bremont, very nicely done! I feel Ebel's an underappreciated brand as well, planning to get one of the in-house cal. 137/Le Modulor chronos later this year.

I think we can look forward to some interesting future offerings from Ebel (Concord to a lesser extent) and Zenith (Tag to a lesser extent, avant-garde doesn't count, regular production does ) since they represent the innovation/movement aspirations of the Movado and LVMH groups, respectively.

I really like that chrono, Ebel discovery is a great watch for the money.

Re: Some shots of the Ebel 1911 Discovery Chronograph

Thanks for the comments, I do like the Ebel quite a lot but an opportunity for another Bremont came up that's too hard to pass up so I actually put it up for sale in the big auction site :(

I can't think of another watch in it's price segment that uses a Chronometer grade ETA 7750 and has much fine detailing on the dial and as comfortable as bracelet. It's a fantastic bargain buy. The only thing it suffers from is that the prestige of the Ebel brand has declined since it's height in the late 70s early 80s.
