Question Something better than Carrera 1887

I love how Tag Heuer Carrera 1887 looks, but I don't really like the bracelet. Can you please recommend another watch (any brand and any price) that you think is the same style but better?

If you love the watch, put it on a leather strap, or rubber, or a NATO.

The same style as in a 2 register Chrono? I guess technically it’s 3 as the second hand doesn’t have a lot of attention drawn to it.

I’d recommend the IWC Spitfire line, but they don’t have the large pushers.

You could look at the Baume and Mercier Capeland chronos. I don’t know if they have a bracelet option.

You could also check out the Alpina alpiner automatic line as well

I like the Carrera, too. The only option that comes to mind is the ML Pontos chrono that comes in a lot of looks. I can't tell you if the bracelet is any better, though.

Bell and Ross BR126 or V2-94

I had a Carrera day date that I really liked except it was a bit too big. B&R Chronos fit me better as they’re slimmer.

there are many chronos to choose from. omega speedmaster, zenith el primero, daytona... would help if you give some more specifics on what youre looking for and what your budget is like. especially when it comes to chronos theres so many options, just look at the sundial orientation theres quite a few.

I didn't know they welded bracelets to the cases...oh well, I learn as I go, I guess :)

I'm sorry to say, but you are probably looking for Omega.

P.S. And Omega's bracelets are fully detachable...

Here is a shot of my old 1887 Carrera. Perhaps a leather strap can change the look. This was such a great watch and good looking model. I miss her.
