    Spaceman Audacieuse

    Hi all

I've just acquired the attached Spaceman and can't seem to find any info on the manufacturer Oranus. I know the light and vertical bars make it relatively rare, but aside from that and loving the design, I'm in the dark (but slightly illuminated !). I do know about the general watch history, it's just this manufacturer that's confuisng me.

    Cheers

The only Spaceman Audacieuse automatic watches I know have been made by Jules Jurgensen, Zeno. A watch like yours is currently offered on ebay.uk. Never ever heard of Oranus.

Thanks Mike - I think you'll find "was offered on ebay" There were apparently about 5 or 6 different manufacturers with the same design and I've since had verification from a very good source that the Oranus model is very rare (illuminated) but as genuine as they come.

    Which is nice !

Dont worry you have done a great purchase
your Oranus is GENUINE and the First watch with light even designed before the sicura installite and one of the most aprecciated audaciuse piece.

the audacieuse design was manufatured under several Brands
and Oranus was one of them of course.

Well - after 4 years or so sat in my watch box doing nothing the time has come to sell. It's now on eBay together with a red dial and a white dial as well as a new old stock case front.

    Cheers
