State of the Collection - August 2018 - Part 2

Since part 1, I have sold my Omega Railmaster 60th Anniversary Limited Edition.

Just an hour ago, I have added my first-ever Panerai, so here is an updated State of the Collection.

Personally I think the Pam is just too big, having said that your collection is a winner really. If you didn't have the weird anti-date fetish your life would be easier as you could have added a Royal Oak, with the no date thing I guess you should save for a Nautilus instead. The problem is you have set the bar so high the only direction to go is trilogy or high ends (Journe, Moser etc)
I can see why you went for the Pam but I think it is the weakest link in a very strong line up.

I very nearly purchased a PAM 610, which is a lot thinner and 2mm smaller.

However, I really like the Sandwich Dial and overall, I prefer the design of this Panerai.

This Panerai is very large, but a Panerai is supposed to be really large, and this one simply felt more like how a Panerai should be like.

I do not have a desire to go Haute Horology again anytime soon, to be honest.

I agree with this, not that Pam is weakest link, but about it being too big and I am just not sure how long that will stay in your collection.

I would guess it won't make it thru new year :P
