    Stolen Rolex

My wife's SS & Gold Rolex was stolen September 26th. Is there a place to register stolen Rolex watches?

    Thanks

Yes, I believe their is.. Also go to the Stolen Watches Section and post their as well in-case someone tries to sell it here. Also in the stolen watches section you will find the name of the website you can register stolen watches which gets forwarded to some dealers & buyers. Lastly contact Rolex and make sure they are aware it is stolen, Rolex will keep the serial number in their database in-case someone ever sends it in for service. Hope this helps... Sorry some scum bag put your wife & you through this,

I notified Rolex by letter with the police file reference. If the watch is handed in for service........but until now it did not happen.
    Kind regards

    Re: Stolen Rolex

You can register your Rolex as "missing" on the stolen watches sub forum of WUS and do as Mike suggested and notify Rolex by letter. That way if ever you watch is handed in for service at an approved service centre it will show up as stolen. Unfortunately crooks in the U.K. soon got wise to this and either didn't send them for a service or got rid of them PDQ. My feelings about anyone who nicks things from someone would get me banned from WUS!

On a related note, does anyone know where someone buying a used watch of any brand can check to make sure it isn't stolen?

    Re: Stolen Rolex

That is a good question. Tough to know if there is a database or method of checking out a watch's legitimacy to determine if it is hot or not. Good luck.

    Re: Stolen Rolex

When my Rolex was taken from me while on holiday in Argentina, I had it registered as 'stolen' at https://rolextracker.com/ ...... no luck yet, but I hope it pays off some day ...

    Cheers,
