    Strange comparison?

    Hi everyone,

I am trying to decide on whether I want to purchase a Zenith 36,000vph El primero tricolor or a JLC reverso tribute to 1931.

It might be a bit of a strange comparison but somehow both these watches really appeal to me. Which way to go???
Both would be great but not an option at the moment unfortunately :(

To give you an idea my other watches are:
    Seiko Monster orange
    Seiko Monster black
    Longines Legend diver
    Panerai 000
    Panerai 183
    Omega speedmaster pro
    Luminox sentry

Any advice would be very much appreciated!

I'd think the JLC would round it out nicely, but the zenith be a good departure from the speedy pro.. For a while at least. Zenith is probably more fun, the jlc more serious..

Sent from my mobile. Please excuse any typos.

I own a 36'000 vph and have handled at length that reverso and have to say that both of these watches are near flawless. The ONE complaint I had with the reverso is that is sat on my wrist (small, ~6.25'') a bit strange. It isn't that thick in comparison to most watches, but the rectangular shape leaves it sitting in a funky way.

My advice- try both on, then make the call, but if your wrists are crazy small like mine, go 36'000 vph.

The tri color el primero has never done anything for me, but I love Reverso's.

Reverso would be a good addition to your collection, and would certainly be my choice.

100% correct...Due to it's shape it sits funny on me too....Check it out...It(Reverso)is not for every man.

The answer to "which watch should I get" questions is almost always Zenith.

Very, very biased, but Reverso no question as long as it fits your wrist 'cause as others have opined that's the only potential "problem" . .

    Re: Strange comparison?

You could call your collection "complete" if you wanted to after the JLC purchase, imho. The Zenith is an excellent watch, but the Reverso would fit in better :)
