    Stunning Christopher Ward Aviator

Just happened upon this lovely watch It puts me in mind of the Bell & Ross
    Swiss Made Aviator Watch
and I wonder if it will become a "classic". My only caveat is that it is a quartz Ronda 5030.D movement

    What do you think?

I like the thin case, easy to wear. I wouldnt worry about the Ronda quartz. At this price its always gonna be a quartzie and prefer ronda then miyotas. But u r right, there is a definate B&R influence, but thats a good thing right?

dookie - definitely an R&R lookalike, but I baulk at the R&R cost

Christopher Ward do other "automatic" aviators but don't look the same:

I might buy one of the automatics and put it away

I really like CW watches. They always seem to put unique twist on being a homage to make it their own.

Doubt if'll become a classic as it resembles the brand it's trying to pay homage to. It definitely has enough of it's own personality to make it unique.

Have you considered the Steinhart "Aviation" line? Similar looking handwinds and autos. Just a thought.

    raodie

I've never seen these before - quite remarkable watches - and a bit cheaper than the CW.
